Welcome gentle readers to another installment of the EvS Show blog post(s).
It’s been awhile since my last post, been busy with “real life”. As some of you may know I’m a practicing “Anarcho-Syndicalist” and Union representative. Helped with a delineation of one group of workers into 2 with 2 sets of employers while still being part of the same “local” yet different contracts, etc. Ever heard of the expression “herding cats”? Then on top of that assisting members from another bargaining unit with their transition and grievances while also trying to empower and develop leadership potential. Also being a part of contract negotiations of the bargaining unit Im in is an eye opener. Somehow in all the chaos Im even trying to quite smoking. No pills or aids just do it. Some days its easy breezy and others like Im trying not to murder the world!! Another part of being a Union rep is educating the “employer”. Not enough is said about it or even mentioned. If “the boss” is coming to you for advice your doing something right. Creating respectful relationships is key!
My oldest is in university, thriving, traveling abroad and cutting her own path. The rest of the family is holding down the fort and backing me up when I’m helping others and trying to save the world, lmao. They’re all a great team and I couldn’t ask for better.
The EvS network is growing through our Twitter network as well as the Facebook group. The hard-core’s are still using email for networking and a few using the “Signal” app and a smaller few going back to P.O.D.s’ (places of darkness) and boards.
Now onto the “GLOBAL CONSPIRACY”!!!!!
Well that doesn’t exactly narrow it down to any one of about 1000 going on.
The following will piss people off on both ends of the new divide. So I’ll just call it as I see it:
Were seeing an obvious trend in “populism” in regards to world leaders. Or so were being constantly told. But is “populism/populist” really just a code word of the establishment to say, “people we don’t like”? Sadly I feel the need to use a disclaimer. All part of that new “Self Censorship” too many are feeling in an increasingly “polarized world”. Really it’s just heading off the detractors at the pass. I’m not a Trump fan, nor any political party (see above reference to Anarcho-Syndicalism). I’m a big fan of Utah Phillips though. To paraphrase him: a good anarchist doesn’t tell other folks how to live their lives.
Gotta say we have no shortage of people trying to tell us all how to live our lives or how to think. It’s tiring seeing people become more and more entrenched into an us and them. Breaking down into a name calling and culling of personal relationships. Of becoming more extreme in their beliefs with no room for discussion or learning. To all my friends, family and compatriots on all the political spectrum and in many countries: all of you bring something to the table. All of your concerns have merits and too many of you are falling for the old divide and rule. Too many are becoming more and more polarized.
To my left of center friends,fam,etc: What I see is a rabid belief that Trump is the most evil thing that has ever walked the earth. He’s not. He might be a buffoon and complete self serving ass, but he’s hardly Hitler. Other people have rights even if you don’t like them. Even if you happen to despise them. Its not o.k. to punch a nazi. Its not okay to punch anyone you disagree with. Yell, scream, debate, protest. Damned right, someone has to. But going the route of political violence….99% of you aren’t cut out for that and “they” will beat you into the ground. This isn’t WW2 despite what your memes would have you believe. Too many of you “lefties” are weak and twiggy and would just get your underwear into a wedgie. In a real “culture war” you would lose. Racism gets worse and bigger the more you tell each other what a huge problem it is. Dear White Liberals, the “brown people” don’t need you to be their champion. It’s an almost back handed racism to act like they need you to help them because they can’t help themselves or champion their own causes. Reality is that there are more Asians than whites in the upper middle class. If there was a real white supremacy in action than that wouldn’t happen. Maybe time to realize that socio-economics is a bit more complex than mantras. Stats and hard data can be a real bitch on assumptions. Stop making everybody a victim and trying to pigeon hole everyone into neat little categories(cis,trans,etc) Most people really resent that. Reality for demographics is the U.S. takes in more refugees than most other Western countries. On top of that many migrants and refugees choose Western countries over others, must be that incipient racism I keep hearing about or how they are treated like crap. No they come because they know its good here. Change doesn’t happen overnight no matter how angry/self righteous you get. Try to stop being such hypocrites and actually recognize if you practice what you preach others respect you and your opinion. They might not agree necessarily but you’ll get their attention. You won’t be leading a revolution. Your not mean enough and too politically correct to actually have any real direction. There are no more real Nazis, just a small group of idiots (and their FBI and other intelligence agency handlers/infiltrators) with too much time and fear on their hands, playing pretend revolutionary, getting drunk,talking shit and informing on each other when they get busted for selling meth.
Nobody (of any creed, gender,sex,etc) has an exclusive monopoly on misery. Truth is we’ve never had it better than we do right now. The history of the world( and ALL peoples) have had slavery,misery,suffering, injustice, and enough shit to choke a million donkeys. Serfdom (fancy name for farm slavery) existed in Russia for almost as long as it did in the U.S. (and a few Eastern European countries). In 1861 there was an emancipation of serfs in Russia (and its empire). Great Britain 1833 (1843 all of the Empire) had emancipation. The United States- 1865 (4 years after Russian slavery ended). Up till 1908 (“white”) Slaves were still being sold in the Ottoman Empire(Modern day Turkey)!! Slavery is happening today, right now in human trafficking and open slave markets IN LIBYA (and a few other African countries)!!! Stop pissing and moaning about slavery from almost 200 years ago in the Western World(primarily the Americas). Its going on right bloody now, put those convictions to action and do something about it.
Recently the Mueller Inquiry has wound down to a close and there’s no dirt on The Orange Man. Not a surprise really, it was all just political theater. Many had said that if there was anything of real substance to the allegations of collusion the Democrats wouldn’t have waited for the inquiry results to show the world. If anything all this bullshit probably just guaranteed Trump gets a second term. He gets to play the underdog now because of the circus that’s been playing out for the last couple of years. Americans love the underdog and the left is handing it to them. Way to go!

ALL OF IT IS SOCIALISM!!! For fuck sakes, stop getting duped by the Koch Brothers and other billionaires like them. These fucking guys could give two shits about any of you. BUT they love not paying their fair share of taxes. Here’s a reality shot: Most of you wont ever be rich no matter how hard you work. Chances are you will never win the lottery either and each is about as probable. Many of you would love to lick the crumbs from the masters table and hope that you might be recognized on your merits even if it means pushing down some of the scum. The cream rises to the top right? (said every fucking psycho and sociopath ever!). When is enough money ever enough? They like to piss and moan about minimum wages but never talk about a maximum wage.
Climate change is real. The data is solid. Stop being stooges and useful lackeys for the oil companies. Having said that, the various Carbon Tax schemes are just that. Schemes and scams– something needs to be done but not how its happening now.
Don’t be afraid of immigrants. Most immigrants are not the cause of crime. Now I am all for legal immigration 100% and do agree with the right that illegal immigration should be criminal (kind of goes hand in hand with the term “illegal”)
“Socialized Medicine” works. It works better than the private system(unless your rich). Reality is you or a loved one are one cancer trip away from bankrupting your family in a private medicine scheme. Most of the Western World has one type or another of socialized medicine and it work well despite the bullshit propaganda you will hear from its detractors. Look into it for yourself and look at the facts. Another hard fact is medicine and medical devices,etc actually cost MORE in the U.S. system than elsewhere. That’s what happens in a “for profit” system.
Less government. Explain in rational terms how that is going to be better for anyone but corporations and billionaires? Another Koch Brother bullshit lie. The reason you can actually drink tap water (except in places where they voted for less “government oversight”) is because of regulations that the elites just love tearing down. Look into corporate welfare and take a hard look at the numbers.
Jesus was a lot closer to being a commune hippie type than he was to your idolatry of billionaires. The Wealthy don’t create jobs. Demand does that. Plus these “Ministers” and “Priests” driving/flying around in petulance among the poorest yet asking for more money?! Remember the story of Jesus and the money changers?
