No shit folks there really is a mind controlled flying drone, research being done in the PRC.
Created by researchers at Zhejiang University (of technology) in the PRC the project was
originally part of work into assisting the disabled in thought directed prosthesis. Well we can
see where all this is going. Some of the research team is due in Pittsburg, PA at the 14th International Conference on Ubiquitous Computing (Ubicomp 2012) September 5-8th 2012. UBICOMP is like a big tech fair/meet n greet. There’s long been an interest by various military/intelligence organizations into using what is euphemistically described as Unconventional Human Intelligence Support.
This including things like remote viewing, psychic spying and the like(look up STARGATE PROJECT) Nothing new really, its been on the radar for the last 50 years or more but only really coming into public acceptance the last few years.There has been a huge glut of television programs involving paranormal research,psychic phenomena, supernatural events and the like for the last few years and there is a public interest there.
Wired magazine did an article discussing the U.S. interest in what the Russkies were doing in the U.S.S.R. involving ESP and mind stuff or Parapsychology as shown in this FOIA doc . But the so called “conspiracy” folks have been talking about this for generations but its now just getting mainstream.
Even with some developments in Psychic research (ie Psychic Warfare) the “giggle factor” is still there. Why? Well because it sounds fucking preposterous. It challenges how we see the world, its things that should be impossible. Problem is there is lot’s of great research out there but a ton of crackpots and scam artists. And even some of the legit folks who can actually use some of these abilities have the social skills of a block of rotten cheese.
This stuff is out there like parallel universes and psychic powers used to be the kind of stuff we laughed at but with better understanding and stranger science who knows what’s next?
