Well now you’ve gone and done it and the government is going to take you out…….
Some say I’m paranoid but I prefer the term ” cautiously aware” LOL.
So lets say you’ve shot your mouth off one to many times, organized too many protests or have just become and embarrassment, liability or plain ole pain in the ass. So how are “they” going to get you?
Well chances are it wont be the spouse or significant other, that’s the first ones anyone who investigates will look at. Chances are it will be someone who can melt into the background or dissipate, someone who can take advantage of a vulnerable moment. Putting on our tinfoil hats
the Evil von Scarry researchers have come up with some possible scenarios and suspects.
I recall a fellow from Office of Naval Intelligence saying ( paraphrasing here) ” Assassinations are allowed to happen not made to happen”
Fair enough if your some big wheel with legions of adoring psycho-paths ready to take you out at any given time, but what about Joe Shmo? What about that pesky researcher or blogger or unwanted social activist? What then?
Places and People , or where and who you can get popped or be taken out:
The toilet/shower/rest room
This has to be the worst and most vulnerable place your either naked or taking a dump with your pants around your ankles and minimal escape routes.
likely suspects– in public- the towel guy, some cleaner or maintenance person, another patron.
Your own home
Most “accidents” happen in the home. Just ask any insurance agent. Anything can be made to look like a house hold incident from murder/suicides to falling off the ladder or down the stairs, electrocution, home invasion, drowning in a pool or bathtub to “poor Joe was always a bit depressed that’s why they found him hanging in the closet with his hands tied behind his back”, or everyone’s favorite the gas leak or when a non smoker “burns his house down” with a carelessly left cigarette.
likely suspects– the cable guy- keep an eye on these guys, door to door sales people ” hi I’m here to sell….” out come the mace or sound suppressed pistol, Jehovah’s Witnesses- they travel in pairs/ easier to deal with you. Pizza Delivery- did you order a pizza? The gas meter guy, plumbers- generally have the tools to dispose of bodies. Contractors- make sure you check em out first. Any guests you dint know or didn’t invite including new neighbors who you never did see with any furniture or kids or pets but had lots of garbage pails lined up.
Out in public– restaurants, parks, etc– the unfamiliar waiter or valet parking that’s why smaller places are the better ones to go to- less chance of potential assassins infiltrating ,other employees will notice someone doesn’t belong. Out in the public is the best for large urban centers- the would be assassin can disappear into the crowd.
Suspected assassins-
Hobos, panhandlers, people asking for change- think about it your hands goes into your pocket and BAM knife in the gut- remember the vulnerable part? You’ve just been easily distracted and let down your guard. OR if someone goes to hand something to you don’t hold it or take it- again distraction. Remember the 3 tramps of the JFK assassination?
Buskers, mimes or street performers– these people are always trying to get you involved ( or distracted!!) again another vulnerable moment. Did I mention mimes a close cousin of the clown… John Wayne Gacey was a clown- do I need say more?
Cabby’s– your in a car and in the back – do those doors remote lock? – and your not driving or in control- popular in Northern Ireland during the troubles as a means of getting rid of people.
Bouncers or Doormen– they were kicking you out the back door of a pub or dance hall and nobody has seen you since.
The speeding car/truck/smart car– used all over the world- car runs you down and no one ever finds it- didn’t mom tell you to always look both ways before crossing the street?
Well I could go on and on about attack squirrels and the like but you get the picture. The only way to avoid these situations is by having “Situational Awareness” :
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Situation awareness, or SA, is the perception of environmental elements within a volume of time and space, the comprehension of their meaning, and the projection of their status in the near future. It is also a field of study concerned with perception of the environment critical to decision-makers in complex, dynamic areas from aviation, air traffic control, power plant operations, military command and control — to more ordinary but nevertheless complex tasks such as driving an automobile or motorcycle.”
Thanks Wikipedia, in short:know your surroundings, have multiple escape plans, continually evaluate potential threats and the changing landscape, possible ambush areas, choke points and avoid distractions, drugs and alcohol or anything that may be debilitating, lol. Don’t put yourself in a situation that if something bad were to happen you couldn’t get yourself out of it: like a bar with too many people and no fire exits.
We hope that this has been informative and that most of you have no reason to be paranoid ( except for you and you know whom Im talking about or you think that maybe I know that you know or maybe that they know) but every reason to be “cautiously aware”. -EvS
