Happy Independence Day to all the American audience out there. Hope it’s a wonderful holiday with friends and family. Take some time to realize though that it’s not just national b-b-q day. Independence nominally from a colonial power , No Taxation without Representation! What happened to that spirit?
Taxes are higher now than they were then, representation even worse time to get fucking mad folks!
America used to one of the most looked up to countries in the world. Literally and example to aspire to and THE place to go to for people who wanted a better life and real freedom, not just a choice of pig troughs to eat from. When did people become “Consumers” instead of CITIZENS? So what like cattle?The rest of the world is watching the U.S.A. go down the toilet and into a corporate fascism with it’s politicians counting the cash all the way down. When is enough going to be enough? Happy 4th of July as what most people call it now. The idea of any kind of “Independence” being an abstract thought lost on most.
