Giant robot cartoons of the 70’s and 80’s have the coolest theme songs. Most of the time
the original Japanese songs have more of that umph that make you want to smash buildings
and fight giant aliens.
One of my faves has got to be Getter Robo
Mazinger Z or also known in the west as “Trazor Z”
english version is pretty craptacular

The original Japanese known there as Beast King Go Lion
again a bit more inspirational and kick ass, theres gazillions of other examples but I have yet to find where the English version kicks more ass than the Japanese theme songs.
I wanted to put Grandizer theme song here ( or Goldorok in Quebec) but seems like there some kind of legal issues with youtube and WMG ( i have no idea how they got the frickin rights to the cool japanese, arabic , french and spanish soundtracks but they did). Another hard to believe is that Toei used to make cool kick ass Giant Robot stuff and now makes Digimon and onepiece and other lame ass emo kid cartoons. Well I’ll give em koodos for keeping Galaxy Express and Captain Harlock but still not the kick ass stuff thats needed.
