So over the last few decades these messages (called Toynbee Tiles) about the size of license plates have been showing up all over the United States and in a few South American places. A documentary maker has created a film into trying to find out who and why and what the hell does it mean. The message reads “Toynbee idea in movie 2001 resurrect dead on Planet Jupiter”
Mostly appearing in Philadelphia they have also appeared in other major U.S. cities and apparently embedded in highways.
