pic of ABB speaking from the Great Mosque of al-Nuri in Mosul

2019 November

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi: The name sounds almost unintelligible to many Westerners and I’m sure that’s exactly why various governments and news agencies must keep reporting his death and or capture since 2014. The Corbett Report and others allege that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi (aka ABB) has reportedly died many times already, not unlike Osama Bin-Laden (aka OBL).

Russian Spetsnaz being not in Syria, lol

Russia, predictably some might say, claims to have no knowledge of the event outlined by President Trump but have even claimed that they killed ABB previously.

For what it’s worth I can see why the Russian’s would like to deny this for a few reasons:

1/ They don’t want to be seen as doing the bidding of the U.S.

2/ Having ABB essentially in their A.O. (area of operations) would be some serious egg in the face. Yeah guys he outsmarted ya’s. Or Syrian intelligence lied or both.

3/ Russia needs to be seen as “winning” in Syria and that perception can only have Russia as the winner. Having the U.S. upstaging them is not in their cards. Warning to some of my fellow conspiracy researchers: take anything from Russians with a large grain of salt. There’s always a clue in a riddle with those guys.

Now apparently ISIL in Iraq has confirmed that ABB is dead as well. So I guess that at least backs up the U.S. claims. ? He has been allegedly captured or killed various times in the past. There’s no English news service from 11 to midnight that I’m aware of……. Who speaks for ISIL/ISIS?

Many major media sources use SITE Intelligence Group as the go to group for verified Middle East news stories involving terrorism. You may have seen reference to SITE Intel Group (now a for profit group) in various news articles. SITE stands for “search for international terrorist entities”. And were going to pull on the thread a little with them-

quick print screen from my Twitter account

“Now what makes you think they are a reliable source?”, one might counter. And I would wholeheartedly agree with that. Always challenge ones assumptions!

The SITE group seems fairly upfront and gives a few names, so lets start at the top and take a quick gander at the owner:

RITA KATZ, Executive Director of SITE Intel Group: has briefed just about every level of the U.S. government (various departments and Congress) and has run workshops for the same. 20 years in researching extremists etc. Note: Despite the officious sounding name they are NOT a government group. Rita has also apparently “infiltrated” front groups for these terrorists organizations. That’s quite the coup for a Jewish woman infiltrating extremely misogynistic Islamic fundamentalists. Not saying it didn’t happen, just that I find it incredible. Especially when their woman are treated as little more than baby factories and hold zero decision making positions.

Born in Iraq and a graduate of Middle Eastern Studies at Tel Aviv University, Ms. Katz is fluent in Arabic.” For me that brings up some red flags. I’ll explain:

Sure there are plenty of Jewish people living all over the world and many “Arab” countries have their share of Christian,Jewish, various Islamic sects and non-Arab populations. And again sure some of them will go to university in Tel Aviv, TAU has a good reputation in that area. Miss Katz is also an IDF veteran.

It’s also a prime pool for Israeli intelligence recruitment.

1966 Iraq stamp

The back story: her father ( a wealthy Jewish businessman) was killed by the government in Iraq(late 1960s), for being a spy for Israel. Her family’s escape from Iraqi captivity through drugging guards and the guile of her mother is nothing short of being worthy of a Hollywood movie. Again not saying I don’t believe her. There’s quite a few stories out there where truth is stranger than fiction! But when vetting a source we need to look deeper than just what’s being presented. So we can agree that at least there will be an Israeli bias which may or may not dove tail in with that country’s intelligence service aims and those of its government. Not really an issue as long as one knows the angle.

There’s been some controversies (ie various Muslim charities suing her for slander),questioning of her biases and inflating threat levels throughout the media. I’m not one to throw out the baby with the bath water though. If she says a plate of food is potatoe latkes should I disagree outright because of other things I disagree with her on? Of course not. That would be idiotic. I will continue to use them as part of getting information but in the full knowledge of their bias, just like CNN or anyone else.

how did SITE scoop ISIL? Wasn’t is an ISIL video?

How did SITE Intel Group release the ISIS beheading video of Steven Sotloff before ISIS did? Hmmmm…. yeah that’s a FACT not a conspiracy. Guess there’s more to the story sometimes. I’ll let other’s make their own conjecture at that one.

OBL dead in Pakistan raid pic

So far we have covered the “Western” sources and their biases and we are aware of the Russian biases. Also that politicians sometimes need to trot out a “win” to keep those polling numbers up. Odd how similar ABB -announced by Trump- and then president Obama announcing OBL‘s death were in timing and circumstance.

So now we are left with one terrorist scum bag, ABB, dead and another takes his place as the 2nd “Caliph” of ISIL(Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant) also known as ISIS(Islamic State of Iraq and Syria). The new ISIS el capo is Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi . Fucking hell, these guys need easier noms de guerre. Think of one of these “Caliphs” like a cross between the Pope and a mob boss. There’s better analogies I’m sure but that’s the simplest one I can think of right now. So yeah ABB was apparently the first “Caliph” of ISIL (a country in their own mind). The 2nd one is… lets see here….. AIHQ… A Hik… ABU-Q sounds better. His mistress is named Susie. No its not just, just me dicking around. We will come back to ABIe-Q (like BBQ but with abs) in a moment.

ISIL/ISIS started off in 1999 by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi (oddly though not considered a Caliph) as an Al-Qaeda splinter group. Plenty of times when their various personalities and leaders were reported dead just to show up at some other point.

That’s a problem with just bombing someone from a drone or plane. You see a crater and figure chances are pretty good there’s nothing left. Not to mention when you have really fucked up war names nobody’s going to remember who got killed and who’s still around. Well then the bastard pops up again on some YouTube video!

The part that bothers me with the whole U.S. policy of making announcements of certain terrorist leaders being killed is the business of “we took some DNA and then dumped the body in the ocean” business. Really? Couldn’t have had some independent verification? Why not invite the Russians in to have a look or confirm for themselves? Feed the remains to some pigs? The last one would go a long way to making would be jihadists second guess their choices. Let’s have some verification and not just “take our word for it, were absolutely sure this time its for real”. Yeah we’ve heard that before and also the same guy being arrested somewhere else after he’d been killed etc.

Sea burial or “sea story”?

Why dump the body in the ocean? So there can be no other narrative other than the one chosen to be given I guess. So the whole dumping the body in the ocean has happened twice, at least to my knowledge. No wonder there are conspiracy theories when those in power choose to hide things instead of exposing them. I don’t buy into the bullshit of “protecting Muslim practices“. Nobody gave a fuck when they’re dropping bombs on various Muslim weddings or wiping out the infrastructure (ie running water, heat, electricity). So something stinks on that one.

Going back to Abi-Q aka Abu Ibrahim al-Hashemi al-Qurashi. Tried to find out what his damage is and guess what. Nobody has a clue. Just some name somebody said ISIS announced as the new leader. Guess we will see who the new boogeyman is in a not so distant future.

If you haven’t watched the (2004) BBC documentary The Power of Nightmares: The Rise of the Politics of Fear” do yourself a favour and watch it. They laid all of this shit out and pretty much how and why it was all going to go down. This was in 2004! 15 years plus later here we are living it. Even for its age there still lots to learn from it and you probably wont watch the news the same way ever again.
