Jimmy Hoffa at the time was president of the Teamsters Union,
his disappearance on July 30th, 1975 is shrouded in controversy and came at a time when it seemed that the Mafia was in full swing killing lots of people in politically motivated fashion like Danny Greene
 and Sam Giancana.

J.R. Hoffa was a very complex leader who at times seemed to be for the working man, then working alongside the Mafia and then opposing them as well as “the system” or anyone else who got in his way or tried to dissuade him.  His death and “disappearance” is one of those events that when one digs into it becomes the proverbial “can of worms” opening it up reveals all sorts of ugliness of the U.S. political power  (President Nixon is the one who pardoned Hoffa and got him out of prison!) plays and opens up too many secrets. Too many of the players involved tie in with JFK’s death as well as other events of that time that the powers that be would rather forget!

Hoffa was also famous for his feud with Bobby Kennedy.

(at left the Red Fox Restaurant last place Hoffa was seen)There has been a lot of speculation as to who actually was responsible for Hoffa’s death many blaming Charles “Chuckie” O’Brien due to some “evidence” of hair found in a car and that he had killed Hoffa on behalf of the Mafia to stop him from controlling the Teamsters Pension Fund. More likely he was killed before testifying at the House Select Committee on Assassinations (ie investigating death of JFK- as well as Sam Giancana who was tied in the Kennedys). Frank Sheeran (a friend of Hoffa and alleged hitman) is said to have confessed to killing Hoffa before he died.

So far Im placing the actual killing on Frank Sheeran, but Frank is just a tool in the bigger game. Its the why of the matter that is even more crucial.

Marvin “the Weasel” Elkind (Hoffa’s driver) went on the news with his own ideas but can you really trust anyone nicknamed “the Weasel”, decide that one for yourself.
My own opinion on this guy is that he made his life by lying for a living as a police informant, he’d say anything for money. Recent attempts in media to glorify this guy are ridiculous.

There’s a really great video from a young fella (777lietuva)on Youtube gives a pretty good summary of Hoffa’s disappearance, Im really proud of this guy and its great to see someone so young actually delving into this and not just playing Nintendo, lmao! He also has a pretty good magic card trick vid. -EvS

  1. Right On! Finanally someone that sees through Marvin Elkind. He has lived by lying his whole life and still is. If anyone is stupid enough to make a movie out of this book, they will be facing lawsuits.
